About MasterRubber (Pty) Ltd

MasterRubber (Pty) Ltd is a SME company established in 1999. Whilst only employing seven applicators, five have been with the company since the start and are acknowledged experts in their field and make a phenomenal team.

We have concentrated on providing safety rubber surfaces for playgrounds in schools and city parks but now feel the need to diversify and broaden our product offering.

As a user of polyurethane from BASF South Africa, we have become involved with some of their components which have evolved with us over the past years. Amongst these products, we became interested in a product called ELASTOPAVE which we have have laid in Mapetla Park as paving but now see it as a solution to the pothole problem, golf bunker bases and pavement solutions.

After some experimentation, we decided that its potential was positive enough to present it as a part solution to the Johannesburg Road Agency problem of repairing potholes quickly and with lasting, durable quality. We trust it will be sufficiently interesting for them to allow us to implement several pilot projects on our major roads.

MasterRubber (Pty) Ltd has been making mats and laying matting made from recycled truck tyres for eleven years. Our reputation for efficiency and good value has enabled the company to grow through some difficult times.

To enable MasterRubber to grow during the economic crisis, we at MasterRubber have affiliated ourselves with Stable Comfort in Canada. Stable Comfort Canada produces the worlds' best stable flooring with 75000 stables to their name.
